Pair of large scale solid walnut chests with four drawers and unusual brushing slides. Brushing slides were used by gentlemen or butlers to pull out and brush the gentleman's trousers before he wore them. They are serpentine front and shaped corners which have quality bronze mounts. Large scale bronze handles. the chests rest upon a multi layer block foot.
